Facebook recently announced the launch of a new, seven-part video series appropriately titled ‘Social Skills.’ The initiative aims to “provide social media managers with the skills and insights they need to maximize their performance.” Run by a range of social media experts, all of whom have built their brands on the platform, the series will focus on how to maximize engagement, build communities, and boost responses.
One notable “guru” featured on the Social Skills series is Sana Javeri Kadri, the founder and CEO of Diaspora Co., a direct-to-consumer spice brand “that focuses on equitable business practice and sharing the history and significance of the spices”. The tips including investing in brand visuals, letting your target demographic inform content, and make posts shoppable.
